What We Believe

With our whole hearts we praise and give thanks to God Who gave His Son to die in our stead so that man might be redeemed, forgiven of his sins and granted eternal life. We praise God who raised up His Son Jesus out from among the dead, exalting Him above the highest heavens, giving Him a name above all names.

The Lord Jesus Christ who obeyed the Father, even unto death, is worthy of all honor, praise and power. He is worthy of all our love! We look forward to His returning for us when He shall set up His kingdom of righteousness. We, therefore, give our lives to His service and to encouraging one another in the way of righteousness, faith and truth.

In our desire to know Him as Lord, and fellowship with God the Father through Him, we gather in simplicity, loving and caring for one another, as we are instructed to do in the scriptures.

We hold to the Bible as the Word of God and together we search the scriptures to learn the will of God.

We understand the scriptures to teach:

  • Jesus Christ is both Son of God and Son of Man: Divine and human.
  • Jesus Christ, outside Jerusalem, around 2000 years ago, died for the sins of man
  • Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by the power of God.
  • Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, to the right hand of the throne of God the Father; having been rewarded the highest seat of honor, power and glory in all creation.
  • Jesus Christ, after He has gained for Himself a people for His name, is returning to establish the kingdom of God on earth.
  • Jesus Christ has appointed His followers the mission to proclaim that there is granted in Jesus' name forgiveness of sins for all that believe; even they who have faith that God has raised Him from the dead, that He is now alive and is Lord of all creation.
  • Jesus Christ will judge the living and the dead for the way they lived in their bodies.
  • God, through His Son Jesus Christ, will create a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness.
